Electronic Arts has continued to expand into the mobile games market with a new partnership with Universal. EA will be developing mobile games based on the Minions and characters from other Illumination Entertainment works. The first game in the partnership, Minions Paradise, will be released this summer.

"This incredible partnership will help us bring players an unforgettable way to build the ultimate playground for their Minions, with an engaging story and deep and varied gameplay."
