There are reports coming in that Microsoft has released a firmware update for the Xbox One in China that eliminates the regional restrictions on the console.
Hao Gamers is reporting that Xbox One owners have been able to install games from other regions. Microsoft has not made any official announcement of the firmware update, and while gamers can use Xbox One discs from anywhere in the world, DLC of games not released in China is not available.
The Xbox One hit store shelves last September in China with sales of over 100,000 units in its first week.
