Bandai Namco, during the announcement of Project X Zone 2 for the Nintendo 3DS, revealed that sales for the original Project X Zone have surpassed 400,000 units.
"With more than 400 000 units, the first episode of this Tactical-RPG series surprised not only fans but also press thanks to its massive line-up, stirring gameplay and unique humour," said Bandai Namco.
Project X Zone was released for the 3DS on October 11, 2012 in Japan, June 25, 2013 in North America, and on July 5, 2013 in Europe.
