The Persona franchise has been a resounding success for Sega and in its latest earnings report the company announced that the franchise has sold more than six million units worldwide.
"In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, [Sega] will launch new titles mainly for the Group’s mainstay IP including Persona 5 which will be the latest title from the Persona series boasting over 6 million total copies sold."
Persona 5 will release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 later this year.
