It has been over seven years since the last console Rainbow Six game (Rainbow Six Vegas 2) came out. The biggest factor that contributes to this lengthy period between releases is the fact that Rainbow 6: Patriots - which was first announced back in 2011 - was officially cancelled last year.
Now it's been announced that Patriot’s successor, Rainbow Six Siege, will be releasing worldwide on October 13th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
