The founders of Criterion Games formed a new development studio called Three Fields Entertainment back in February 2014 and the team is currently developing a multiplayer sports game that will be released in Spring 2016.
The big news that's surface overnight, however, is that the company's second game will be a spiritual successor to the Burnout franchise. The last main game in the franchise, Burnout Paradise, was released in 2008.
