Ubisoft has acquired Rocksmith developer Longtail Studios. The two have worked together before on Sports Connection and Dance on Broadway.
Longtail will now be known as Ubisoft Halifax and will focus on developing AAA games for mobile platforms.
"As we continue to grow our mobile business, we are also looking to develop our expertise and expand our network of mobile studios," said executive director of Ubisoft's mobile business, Jean-Michel Detoc. "The team of more than 30 talented people in Halifax brings with it a wealth of experience as well as a clear understanding of Ubisoft's culture and processes."
This is the second acquisition by Ubisoft this month; the other was of The Crew developer Ivory Tower.
