Top Hacker Group Predicts Pirated Games Will End in Two Years

The founder of Chinese cracking firm 3DM, Bird Sister, has stated that, given the current rate of anti-piracy tools, we may see an end to video game piracy in as little as two years.

The statement comes after attempts to crack into Just Cause 3, protected by anti-tamper technology called Denuvo, pushed 3DM hackers to their limits.

Writing on her blog, Bird Sister said the following:

"I still believe that this game [Just Cause 3] can be compromised. But according to current trends in the development of encryption technology, in two years time I’m afraid there will be no free games to play in the world."
