Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 Multiplayer Beta Starts Next Week

Gamers won't have to wait long to play PopCap Vancouver's upcoming shooter. Electronic Arts has announced that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be receiving a multiplayer beta later this month.

Taking place from January 14-18th, both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will be able to participate.

The beta will include six new playable character classes. Plant players will be able to use Rose, Citron, and Kernel Corn, while the Zombie side can choose between Imp, Super Brainz, and Captain Deadbeard. It will also be the first time that players can check out two new modes: Gardens & Graveyards and Herbal Assault.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 comes out February 25th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
