In the final week of 2016 Monster Hunter X (3DS) remained at the top of the Japanese chart, according to Media Create. For the week ending January 3rd the game sold 130,063 units.
Monster Strike (3DS) is in second place with sales of 91,572 units, Splatoon (WiiU) is in third with sales of 60,447 units, and Super Mario Maker (WiiU) is in fourth place with sales of 52,753 units.
The Nintendo 3DS continues to dominate the hardware sales as the holiday season wraps up. The 3DS sold 120,105 units. The PlayStation 4 sold 65,427 units, the PlayStation Vita sold 63,811 units, and the Wii U sold 53,547 units. The PlayStation 3 sold 4,221 units, and the Xbox One sold 765 units.
