Possibly.
According to Blizzard Entertainment's Matthew Burger, anyway, who let loose some cryptic information about the infamously long-gestating project while speaking with PlayStation Magazine at last week's PAX convention.
"[StarCraft: Ghost] is on hold," said Burger, in response to a query about the game's status. "It has never been cancelled."
When asked if the game may still yet release, Burger responded with a painfully vague "Maybe."
Hearsay and maybe's are incredibly common for the industry, but it's surprising to get new word about StarCraft: Ghost, which was originally announced all the way back in 2002, before a series of delays led it to become considered vaporware by many in the industry.
Do you think StarCraft: Ghost has a chance of seeing the light of day? Let us know in the comments!
