This game is Nintendo's most innovative game. Super Mario Sunshine is loaded with tons of cool things: new gameplay, new characters, new environment, and even awesome stuff to do! To start, we'll do characters. This game is full of new people including Toadsworth, the toad cousins, Bowser Jr./Shadow Mario, FLUDD the talking water pump, and Piantas. Now for the story; Mario, Peach, Toadsworth, and the cousins land on Delfino Island, a luxurious place inhabited by multi colored beings known as Piantas. When they land, Mario discovers FLUDD the talking water pump. Once they get inland, Mario is immediately imprisoned for "defacing the island with graffiti". It soon turns out that Shadow Mario was responsible. Mario and FLUDD most work together to clean Delfino Island and earn their freedom. Now for the awesome gameplay; this game offers a new style for Mario, open-world (this was seen in Mario 64, however this one offers a more lenient open world environment) . This game is full of different worlds with 8 missions in each. FLUDD is usually required to either access them or complete them. The main open-world part is Isle Delfino, the "HQ" and area where you access all the levels. Isle Delfino is basically a downtown Delfino Island.
Overall, this was the most fun Mario game i have ever played.

Jarrod GarripoliYeah, I agree that Galaxy was by far the better of the two games. However, Sunshine was a very fun game, although the FLUDD mechanic was slightly frustrating at times, but that's not to say it wasn't good. -
ChuManFuDid you prefer is over Mario Galaxy? I definitely loved Sunshine but Galaxy was in another league in my opinion!
