I wanted to like the game, i gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe it has a slow start, and i was thinking that this is the case... almost untill the endgame. It had original idees, you can scale giant monsters, indepth fighting system but all this is not enough to make the game FUN.
Story - as bad as it can get, almost nonexistent and boring.
Gameplay - fighting system is good, BUT - there are not a lot of enemies to fight (small diversity and small in numbers) - rendering combos and new skills almost unusefull. NO FASTRAVEL - the game suffers from this, yes there is a fastravel but it's introduced late in the game. And even than you can only teleport to the capital or another place you select.... but you have to walk all the way there before this and leave a teleporter there.
Enemies and minibosses - are well designed, BUT are respawned in exact same places. The game is long and bored the hell out of me mainly because i was re-trading the same roads over and over, and fighting the same enemies and minibosses. (I have to say that fighting the minibosses for the first couple of times was actually really fun)
Quests - very very bad, i had a quest at some point to meet a NPC, i went to the place (wasted 5 min or so to get there), then it appears that something happened at the base (this is a scripted event and not a random one) - and the NPC send me back.... I had to walk another 5 minutes.... so 10 minutes lost in vain, i haven’t met anything interesting during this quest, and this was a main quest. Not all quests are that bad, but still this one shows how much laziness went into creating the game..
Shortly - the game is not worth it.
RPG’s and games in general should have at least one of the following pillars to be enjoyable - story and gameplay. This game doesn’t have any. Still i might be hotheaded at the momment due to the fact that i finished this uninspiring game, but this doesn't change the thing that the game had potential and wasted it.

I'm not that far into the game to properly give it a score yet, though.
