GlitterBerri the translator that brought gamers the Hyrule Historia in English and other interesting pieces of gaming history has uncovered another gem; early concept documents for Pokémon Red and Blue.
Inside, we learn about several designs that were changed towards the end of devleopment. Did you know, for example, that originally Pokémon weren't items to be traded and used in battle, but rather partners on the player’s adventure?
It makes you wonder what the Pokémon series would be like today if these original concepts hadn't been altered. Would it even still be as Iconic as it is today?
