It has been revealed that Insomniacs teased game, When World Collide, is actually a new and traditional Ratchet and Clank game. This on is not like All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault, instead is a core game that focuses on the main story of where A Crack in Time left off. The duo are found assisting Galactic Authorities by bringing the two new villains Vendra and Neftin Prog to a high level detention center. After a horrible accident, Ratchet and Clank are stranded on planet Yerek, a seemingly unknown planet in a far and distant sector of Polaris.
New gadgets are showcased and new weapons are showcased as well.
The creator of the series stated that he "wanted to give Ratchet his game back" and that "Into the Nexus will be a spooky mood game".

Jarrod GarripoliI am both excited and worried at the same time. A Crack in Time is definitely my favorite Ratchet game and I hope this new one lives up to it somewhat.
