Infinity Blade: Dungeons, the dungeon-crawler spin-off to the popular Infinity Blade series for iOS, has officially been canceled.

The announcement comes Chair Co-Founder and Creative Director Donald Mustard, who stated that the cancelation of the game came with the closure of Infinity Blade: Dungeons developer Impossible Games.

"When the studio that was working on [Dungeons] was closed, the game was canceled." said Mustard. "That's really all I can say."

Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade II were some of my favorite games for mobile platforms, and I was immensely excited to see the dungeon-crawler formula applied to the games' universe. However, Mustard stated Chair was "planning to do in the Infinity Blade universe," so at least there's that.
