Thunder will be in the new Killer Instinct, it has been revealed.
A few changes have been made to the character since his last appearance. For starters, his design seems more sombre and tragic; it looks as though war paint has been poured over him by the game's designers, as opposed to the somewhat stereotypical Native American design of the 90's.
More importantly than that, though, are the changes to how he plays. He's been made into more of a grappler (which means that his phoenix projectile seems to have been removed) and his Instinct Mode gives him an invulnerable dash that can be special cancelled in its second half.
The video also reveals some of the developers' feelings. They're extremely passionate about their work and are hell-bent on not only getting this game out on "Day Zero" for the Xbox One in November but also making it great.
Killer Instinct will be available free-to-play (where you'll have to buy characters individually, except for Jago who comes for free with the game) or can be purchased as a complete package, and will launch with the Xbox One this holiday.
