Saints Row 4 and it's references.

Saints Row 4 is a game where chaos and hilarity ensues. The game takes it's raunchy humor approach like in The Third and steps it up ten fold. Aside from raunchy humor, the game adds in plenty of references to other games. The biggest that I spotted however was a Metal Gear Solid reference. How big was it?

When you go into Asha's mind to free her, you are put into a battle simulator. Asha was basically reliving the same mission over and over. The objective is to move through the base with stealth. The goal is to stop the evil mastermind from destroying the world. As you progress with Asha, she tells you to keep quiet. You reach the first corner and see a guard. Asha tells you to shoot the lights rather than kill the guard. You do so and alert the guard but move on with ease. You reach another corner and are told to shoot the lights once more. Once you do, however, the guard will get some word over their head. WTF will appear and the famous alert tone from Metal Gear Solid will play. This happens every time you alert a guard from there on out. As you pass the guard, you reach yet another corner. Asha tells you to keep quiet. As you near the corner, you hear a guard speaking to some one. His exact words: "Yeah baby, this snake is 100% solid!". Another reference to Metal Gear directed to it's main character, Solid Snake. The final reference is the villain. When you finally meet him, you notice something odd. For starters, he is an evil version of you, but YOU notice something odd. The villain looks identical to the antagonist Big Boss. With the eye patch and old appeal.

Other references occur but are very small. One that can EASILY slip passed the player is when you are shutting down the main simulation. As it is turning off, a command prompt appears. Kinzie tells you to be calm as she types multiple different things. One of the commands she types is Saints Row 4 X Dead Island confirmed. However, this really hasn't been confirmed.

Another small reference is when you are flying the ship and decided to roll. By tapping L2 or R2 (LT or RT) twice, you will roll. When you roll, Kinzie will yell "DO A BARREL ROLL".

Aside from those, there are bound to be more references. I haven't found them, but im sure they are there.
