In a post on the Halo Waypoint Blog, it was stated that“...we’re sad to report that the service end-date for Halo 2 PC Multiplayer will be February 15, 2013.” Which means bad news for the max. population of twenty players, however they may still choose to play multiplayer over LAN or your could trying playing Halo 2 on the Xbox over XBconnect (xbconnect.com).
