Rumours that DriveClub - originally intended as a PlayStation 4 launch title - would be delayed started up a couple of days ago. Today, Sony confirmed that this is indeed the case. The game will now launch in early 2014.
In order to compensate for the loss of DriveClub, which was also going to have a free PlayStation Plus Edition, the game Contrast will now join Resogun as the free PlayStation Plus offerings at launch.
DriveClub is the latest in a long series of games that have been delayed this holiday, including Watch Dogs, The Crew, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Mario Golf.
