Zenimax Online Studios, a privately owned media organization in Washington, DC and Bethesda Softworks, a company who is a part of the Zenimax Media Inc. Family have announced that signups are now open for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) Beta. Making this the first online game in the Elder Scrolls series in over twenty years, so as you can imagine the developers will be wanting to make ESO perfect on release. Which, should not be difficult as Bethesda will be using Zenimax Online's Megaserver technology.
Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online had this to say:
"We're really excited to get the game into players' hands. We receive invaluable feedback through the beta process, and that helps us ensure that the game will be one of the best online gaming experiences ever offered -- one worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise."
