Last week the first Persona 3 film - Spring of Birth - released in 26 theaters throughout Japan. Even with the low amount of places showing it the movie was able to take seventh spot in the box office. At the end of the movie they confirmed the sequel, which is aiming to release in early summer of 2014, along with an extra scene of a certain familiar robotic girl.
The second film has been officially named Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream. The film will follow right after the events in the first film, as the members of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) begin their summer vacation.
