NES Remix Coming to Wii U eShop

Nintendo, Wii U, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Excitebike, Donkey Kong Jr.



During today's Nintendo Direct event it was announced that NES Remix would be available for purchase later today on the Nintendo eShop. This title, available for $14.99, adds a unique twist to 16 of Nintendo's greatest NES classics.

NES Remix includes "quick levels" from these games. While most of the pivotal moments from these titles will be untouched, there will still be several new gameplay mechanics. For example, a video showed the addition of a Zelda themed sprite in Donkey Kong, and a Mario Bros level in reverse.

The 16 games remixed for this title includes:

Balloon Fight
Excitebike
Ice Climber
Golf

Donkey Kong, Jr.

NES Remix also includes additional Miiverse features. The file size for this game is 830 MB.
