The original BioShock is to be re-released this summer on iOS platforms, 2KGames China announced.
Eurogamer and Polygon managed to get hands-on with the port and concluded that the game has stayed mostly in tact, albeit with slightly downgraded visuals for the mobile hardware.
They also feel that the Bluetooth controller support for the game is a treat, and allows the port to easily replicate the original's charm, but they do not recommend using the touch controls, as they make "it hard to multitask things like moving, aiming and shooting, or slipping between weapons and using plasmids".
No date or pricing was given following the announcement, but a premium price point is likely.
