Sony have announced that they'll be taking the PlayStation Network down early next week for maintenance. The precise times are as follows:
Monday 17th 18.00-00.00 GMT/9.00-3.00 PT/ 12.00-6.00 ET
PSN is going down in order for Sony to 'deploy a series of back-end improvements to the network', and although users will not be able to sign-in to their accounts and play online during this time, if you sign into your account before the down-time you will be able to continue to play online.
