PS4 owners have been waiting for a JRPG to play on their shiny new system for over a year now, but the wait will soon be over… sort of. Idea Factory has announced the localization of Omega Quintet, which is set to release in the spring of 2015 at both retail and PSN. Omega Quintet was developed by Compile Heat who are best known for creating the Hyperdimension Neptune series and the recently-released Fairy Fencer F.
The game combines the gameplay of JRPGs with the Idol Simulation genre, allowing the music to be part of both the combat system and how your stats boost. Omega Quintet also allows you to build relationships with the ‘Idols’ as their manager and will feature dual-audio with Japanese and English voice overs.
