Microsoft's Major Nelson has published a blog post demonstrating initial Xbox Windows 10 functionality.
The post details some of the features you'll be able to access using the Xbox App on Windows 10, including:
Profile - You will of course be able to access your Xbox profile, view your activity feed, achievements and Gamerscore details, 'follow feeds', and access your recorded gameplay clips.
Home - Your home page on the app will consist of your most recently played games, friends lists (and their online status), and activity feed. You can go into more detail for each of these, for example accessing the recent activity of your friends, their achievements, and gameplay clips.
Messaging - You can view messages received from other users and system notifications.
Settings - Here you can sign out, customise your Xbox Live tiles, and adjust your notification settings.
