Jonathan Blow (Braid) has revealed that his next upcoming game, The Witness, will be so large that even a speedrun of the game will take at least six hours.
In a series of Tweets he mentions that his speed run completion time - in which he didn't even 100% the game - clocked in at 6 hours, 20 minutes and 36 seconds. Bearing in mind that he is the creator of this game and will therefore know the solutions to all 677 puzzles the game has to offer, it's clear that The Witness is going to be one long game.
In other Tweets Blow mentions that the game is 10x larger than Braid, and that this size may change as more of the game is completed.
The Witness currently has no firm release date, but is expected to launch sometime this year.
