Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is actually the fourth installment in the Ninja Council franchise, despite being numbered 3. Deleveloped by Aspect for release on the Nintendo DS, it is refered to as Naruto: Saikyō Ninja Daikesshū 4 in Japan and Naruto: Ninja Council European Edition in Europe. Due to Naruto: Saikyō Ninja Daikesshū 3 not being released in the US, it was listed as number 3 rather than 4 in the series.
