Rodea the Sky Soldier is a flight action platformer that is developed by Prope and developed by Kadokawa Games, for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Originally developed for the Wii, that version of the game was cancelled and development switched to the Wii U and 3DS. The game will be published by NIS America in the west.

After stopping Emperor Geardo of the Naga Empire 1,000 years in the past, Rodea awakens to find himself in the future and the world of Garuda in a peaceful state. However, this peace will not last, as the forces of the Naga Empire are once again threatening Garuda, making Rodea fulfill his 1,000 year promise of protecting it.
