Death Ball is a no-holds barred sports game, similar to soccer, in that there will be two teams trying to score a goal in their opponent's goal. Your goal is to get the ball and score, although things aren't that simple. When your team gets possession of the ball, a meter will start filling up and when it reaches a certain point, the goal will become opened.
Once the meter fills up all the way, the player in possession of the ball can perform a Superstar Shot. This is a special shot, when executed, will make the ball go towards the goal. It can be stopped by the opposing team, but if it goes into the goal, the team that shot it will score one point. You do not have to wait for the Superstar Shot, as if you get in the goal beforehand, a point will be awarded for your team. After every point scored, the opposing team will gain possession of the ball from mid-arena.
Of course, you don't have to sit idly by and watch as players hold the ball and then eventually score. You can attack any player on the field, including the ball carrier, which after enough hits will drop the ball (and decrease any meter built up). Any player that is killed will have to wait 10 seconds before they can respawn. The team with the most points after 10 minutes has passed is the winner.
